It’s been a little while since you’ve heard from us, but a lot is happening at the 403! Our community continues to grow, and so do the needs of our clients—especially those affected by recent layoffs, reduced benefits, and other unexpected hardships.
Our HELP CENTER is busier than ever, serving at least 30 clients a day and distributing over 60 lunches daily. We are operating at (and beyond) capacity—and we need your help!
We’re especially in need of food and hygiene items, including:
Nonperishable foods (canned and dried)
Shelf-stable milk
Snack-size chips, popcorn, and canned fruit for lunches
Water bottles and pop-top cans for our unhoused clients
Diapers, Depends, and feminine hygiene items
Please note: We cannot accept expired items.
The Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but we hope to see you before then!
Our home church, Madison Campus, will host a COLLECTION on Sabbath, November 22, beginning with first service and continuing through the Nashville Praise Symphony Concert that evening.
The ACS box truck will be parked in the church parking lot to receive donations throughout the day. We encourage other churches and community members to join in this effort to support our neighbors in need.
We are thrilled to welcome back the Nashville Praise Symphony for their 15th annual concert at Madison Campus Church, Sabbath, November 22 at 6:00 PM.
These talented musicians travel the world sharing their mission through music, and we are so grateful that the love offering proceeds from this concert will benefit the 403 Center. This special evening is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family as we begin the week of Thanksgiving with hearts full of gratitude and praise.
As you can see from our picture, the 403 is already sparkling with Christmas spirit! We’ve stocked our shelves with unique décor, vintage treasures, and boutique clothing—perfect for gift shopping while supporting a great cause.
Every week brings stories that remind us why the 403 exists. This week, a woman in her late 30s came in seeking help. She had given birth just ten days ago to a premature baby who will remain in the hospital for months. Her partner had left, and she was living in her truck with almost nothing—no bedding, warm clothes, or food. The doctor advised her to not work for 6 weeks, but she has two other children who are presently staying with relatives, a vehicle that needs repair and a desire to get her family back together.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to meet her immediate needs. Our volunteer Charlie prayed with her, provided referrals to additional services, and offered hope. She now has a job interview and is determined to rebuild her family. Now we ask that you pray specifically for this struggling mother and her children..
We invite you to drop by the 403 Center to see firsthand what your mission to the Madison community is accomplishing. Take a tour, shop our gift and thrift store for hidden treasures, or maybe even join our team of volunteers!
Together, we’re living our mission to:
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. SERVE THE WORLD.
One person at a time—right here in Madison, TN.
